Some dates for Nick’s I’m Taking Off tour in the US were just announced. More dates are to be announced.

1/28 – Las Vegas (private “Hang With The Band” event midday / special birthday appearance at Hard Rock in the evening)
1/30 – Nashville, TN at Cannery Ballroom – Tickets $27.50 in advance, $30 day of show. Details
1/31 – Charleston, SC at Music Farm
2/2 – New York, NY at Irving Plaza
2/3 – Baltimore, MD at Rams Head – Tickets $30 Details
2/4 – Philadelphia, PA at Trocadero with afterparty special event in Atlantic City at Harrah’s Pool

Presales will begin on Friday, November 25th at 10am local venue time.

Nick’s song “Burning Up” was added to allaccess.com (a site that lists songs being sent for radio play in the US). So we can now officially request it! The song was listed under Top 40/Mainstream. Last week Jason, Nick’s manager mentioned on twitter it would be sent to radio this this week. It’s not certain if your station will have the song yet but it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

Are the fans different over there? Have you had any crazy interactions yet?
They are similar in some senses. They are a little bit quieter during my shows – that’s just how they are. You can hear a pin drop because they’re really paying attention. You have to perfect yourself because you’re under pressure.

During his chat on Ustream Nick mentioned his US solo tour.

The tour will be 2 and a half weeks long. Between January 28 until February 14.

No word on when more dates will be announced but they’ll be posted as soon as they’re released.
