Mix 100.7 in Tampa, FL will interview Nick on Monday. They are asking for fans to submit questions.

Tampabaysmix Nancy & I get to interview Nick Carter from BSB on Monday. What should we ask him (other than “will he marry me”)? Their radio show airs between 3-7pm ET.

Earlier today a few lucky fans won a contest on Nick’s official site to hangout with him and listen to some new songs from his solo album. Thanks to Leena (KoolKiwis on twitter) who shared some info.

Fans got to have lunch with Nick and listen to him do rehearsals for some upcoming shows in Japan. He sang Quit Playing Games, Just One Kiss and another song that was his favorite that he didn’t want to say the name in case it gets leaked.

Nick mentioned that he’ll be in Europe in May (with possible shows) for the release of his album. The album will include two new songs. As for the U.S. he said he may release it in the summer. But isn’t sure yet.

The name of the bonus track on Nick’s upcoming solo album “I’m Taking Off” is called “Jewel in Our Hearts” and is written by Noriyuki Makihara.

As you may or may not have heard AJ is back in rehab. If you follow him on twitter he posted a few messages the other day before he went. Today a official announcement was made with the following statement from AJ himself.

“For personal reasons, I’ve checked myself into a rehab clinic,” McLean says in a statement. “With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and perform and sing for people at my very best and happiest. None of this will affect our current tour plans and I look forward to seeing everyone really soon! Thank you for all of your support and respecting my family and friends privacy during this time.”

As we all know Nick’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I would like to do something special for it.
