In Nick Carter’s first live performance since sister Leslie died earlier this week, the singer hit the stage at New York City’s Irving Plaza Thursday night with a high-energy show. He also took a moment to dedicate a ballad to his sibling.
Members of the mostly-female audience held up pink paper hearts in honor of Leslie, a gesture Carter acknowledged during the show.
Laura Codd, the fan who made the hearts, said they were also meant to thank Carter for not canceling the show.
“I made 100 of them and passed them out to the crowd … to show we love him and support him and we appreciate him still coming out and performing tonight,” said Codd, 26.

The ‘I Want It That Way’ hitmakers are all “in touch with their feminine sides” and appreciate their homosexual fans because they are always up for having a fun time.
Asked why, unlike N*Sync, Boyzone, Westlife and New Kids On The Block, they have no gay members, singer Nick Carter said: “I can’t explain why. I think a lot of the guys are in touch with their feminine side though, if that’s OK?
“We’ve definitely had a huge gay following at the concerts, and we love them. They know how to frickin’ party!”
Backstreet Boys are currently on a joint tour with New Kids On The Block under the name NKOTBSB and Nick says the pairing works well, because the two acts are so similar.

As I would never write people what is written in these emails to anyone. These emails are basically spam. When you do get a email from me first off you have to be a member of the community which is what I think these emails got sent to. But not everyone got it. Second the email address that is used is not a yahoo email. I use a @kaos-online.com address and there is only one email account associated with the site and that is mine. No one else works on the site but me and I am the only person who can email forum members. I am sorry if anyone got this email. I don’t want anyone thinking I am are spamming you.

This has nothing to do with the boys but I want to send my condolences out to Michael Jackson’s family during this time. It was announced around 3:15pm Cali time that Michael Jackson had passed away. He was just 50 years old. R.I.P Micheal.
