Recently a new song by Backstreet Boys “Lost in Space” surfaced on the internet. No one knows where it came from, if it’s new (which to us it seems it is) or a old track. Although it is possible to have been recorded during the NKOTBSB tour as they have mentioned to have recorded some songs during the tour. Many sources like MTV are claiming it’s a new single. Which we don’t know if it is or not. The guys will work on the new album soon. Whatever the case is the song is a fun dance track that easily get’s stuck in your head.

Take a listen to it over at MTV.com

Just a few minutes ago the auction for Nick’s signed shoes closed. The final bid was a surprising $16,100! View ebay auction here.

It’s amazing that the bidding for Nick’s signed shoes by BSB and NKOTB members went so high. But it’s great that all that money will be for charity. The money will be going to GlobalGreen.com.

Not to long ago I posted a article where Nick mentioned he’d auction off his shoes for charity. Nick just posted about the auction on twitter. You can bid on Nick’s shoes signed by all members of Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block

This is completely for charity. I want to raise awareness for other sources of clean energy. It may be small but its the thought that counts.

here it is! ebay.com lets be one voice. We need to make a change.

Last week, iVillage hosted a spectacular exclusive concert with former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. When the concert wrapped, we had a live interview and web chat nearby with the solo singer in the URBANFITT studio, run by iVillage fitness expert, the fabulous, Jane Clapp.

Jane has been following Carter’s career recently, especially since he has been promoting fitness as a force that has turned his life around. She had a chance to ask the buff hearthrob a few questions about his journey with exercise and how he keeps fit on the road.

You’ve been very open about how exercise and a healthy lifestyle helped you tackle your demons (addictions) in the past. Apart from working out to look smokin’ hot, what role does exercise play in your life now?
Exercise is the number one priority in my life. I’m sure you have heard the old saying, “you’ve got nothing if you don’t have your health.” This is true. I do at least 45 minutes of cardio a day and once I’m in the gym for about a week conditioned, I begin to lift weights. If I get tired of the same old elliptical machine I mix in sports such as basketball and tennis. You may not enjoy it at first but after about 2 weeks you begin to reset your body and form a new habit. Soon you will be craving the gym.

China has banned a 12-year old Backstreet Boys song “I Want It That Way” due to certian websites allowing it to be downloaded, or streamed online. But the Backstreet Boys aren’t the only artists to have their songs blacklisted. Songs by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Simple Plan, Britney Spears among others have also been banned. Including Asian artists from Hong-Kong, Japan, Taiwan and more.

The ministry of culture has ordered all websites to remove 100 songs that were never approved or registered from their sites by September 15 or face punishment.

Read more about the banning of these songs and why over at CNN.

Nick will be having a video chat with iVillage after his acoustic show in Toronto.  Read below on how to participate in his chat.

Following his show in Toronto, join us back here (bookmark this page!) and participate in a live chat with Nick and our go-to-gal for all things entertainment, Kiss 92.5 FM host, Taylor Kaye. Taylor will dive deep into Nick’s latest release, “I’m Taking Off” and will ask the questions you’re dying to know and can ask through our interactive chat tool.

Best thing about the chat? It will all be streamed live via video so it will pretty much be like you’re right there with him. Pretty much.

While the chat should kick off around 8:30pm ET, you never know what happens in the world of rock n’ roll so be sure to follow-us on Twitter @iVillageCanada for your up to the minute details on the night. Nick’s best juicy tidbits from the chat will also be shared on Twitter that night in case you can’t make it to the site.

Update: the chat time has changed to 8:15pm.
