After their Monday night concert at the Entertainment Centre, the boy band visited Hindley St gentleman’s club, The Palace.

Events planner James McRae says the group, including Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and their entourage, dined on food platters from O’Connell St restaurant d’Artagnan while they relaxed in a special roped-off area inside the club.

“They had a good time … they’re very nice, polite, down-to-earth guys … it was very low-key,” James says of their two-hour stay.

BSB’s special guests on tour, New Kids on the Block preferred a quiet night in at their hotel, the InterContinental.

Earlier in the day, Brian warmed up for the big gig with a hit of tennis at Next Generation gym in North Adelaide.

Playing himself in a cameo on tonight’s episode, Carter winds up at Madison’s (Caitlin Thompson) bachelorette party after Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) develops a scheme to break Madison and Max apart. The best way to do that? Temptation, says Naomi in the exclusive clip below, “and what screams temptation more than a Backstreet Boy with his shirt off?”

For Carter, shirtless or not, he was simply pleased to get back into the acting saddle. “I haven’t done [any acting] in a while because I’ve been touring like crazy,” says the singer, whose band is currently on tour with New Kids on the Block. “So I called up my agent and [asked] if there are any opportunities, and they came back with 90210. Even though it was a cameo and I would have rather played a part — an actual character — I took it up to get my face back out there and get my feet wet again.”

Or in this case, his shirt wet. But that’s far from the only disaster he finds himself in the middle of during the episode. “There definitely was some drama because [Madison and I] are caught in a backroom,” he says. “They bust through the door, take photos, and they expect us to be doing something dirty — but it ends up backfiring.”

Perhaps Naomi needs a lesson in executing plans from Carter and his fellow Backstreet Boys, who last week made a surprise announcement that member Kevin Richardson, who left the group in 2006, would be returning. “It had been in the works for about the past year,” reveals Carter. “We were deciding when we wanted to release the information — should we do it on a grand scale? But then we were at [London's] O2 arena, doing two back-to-back sold out shows in front of 50,000 people…so we took the opportunity to share the secret with the fans because ultimately it was about them.”

With the band whole again, Carter says the current plan is to return to London in July to start a new album. “We’ve had meetings and conversations and talking about music, and I think we’re all on the same page. And I’ve always respected [Kevin] musically, and I think it’s a really good dynamic,” he says. “I think it’s going to be great.”

Carter makes an appearance at the bachelorette party that Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) is reluctantly throwing for ex-boyfriend Max’s (Josh Zuckerman) fiancée, Madison (Caitlin Thompson). The bride-to-be gets the special Backstreet cameo because she’s had a huge crush on him since junior high. We all should be so lucky!

Not so lucky? Carter, as it seems like our hostess with the mostest spills her drink on him during the festivities. We bet he doesn’t want it that way! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

And, sorry, BSB fans: Carter will not be performing during “A Tale of Two Parties,” which centers on Max and Madison’s bachelor and bachelorette parties. Spoiler alert: Two of 90210‘s guys will find themselves in jail by the end of the night!

Kevin, 40, left in 2006 leaving Howie Dorough, 38, Nick Carter, 32, AJ McLean, 34, and Brian Littrell, 37, to record and tour without him.

I’m told: “Kevin missed the rest of the guys, who he counts as brothers as well as bandmates and felt now was the right time to return.”

The lads announced Kev’s official return on stage at London’s O2 Arena.

BSB, who are touring the world alongside New Kids On The Block, are keen to challenge young pretenders The Wanted and One Direction.

Nick explained: “We’re coming back to London in July for three weeks to record our new album. It’s been a long time since we’ve been played on some radio stations and we want all our fans to make pickets and start a protest outside these stations to get them to play our songs.”
