Every year KTU does a Beatstock a radio show with lots of artists. This year BSB are added to the lineup. The show will take part over two days. For anyone in the US wondering why the boys new single hasn’t been played yet is because the impact date for the song to radio is August 17. That means that’s when the single is officially released to radio. That does not mean radio stations won’t play it now. Some do play songs early. Although some stations may not have the ok yet to play it. So do not call every hour bugging the DJs to play it if they say …

Backstreet Boys announced today (July 28) that it will release its ninth album, “This is Us,” Oct. 6 on Jive Records. The lead single, “Straight Through My Heart,” has just been released to radio and can be heard on the group’s MySpace page.
The 11-track set follows the Backstreet Boys’ platinum-certified 2005 reunion album “Never Gone” and 2007’s “Unbreakable,” which sold 1.7 million copies worldwide but less than 150,000 in the U.S.
