You can now vote for the boys at the VMAs. Click here and go to the best pop video category, search for either Inconsolable or Helpless When She Smiles and vote, vote, vote! You can vote more than once. Some of us are voting for Inconsolable since it got more airplay. So we’re going with that video. You have until Wednesday to vote. The nominees will be announced next Friday on FN MTV at 8pm EST on MTV. I will update if the boys are nominated or not. Also if you got some time watch Inconsolable on MTV’s website. Right now they’re video is on the fourth page under most viewed. Help get the video more views. That way it’s listed higher.

To vote you will need a account over at MTV.com it doesn’t take long to register.

Backstreet Boys Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean are continuing to work on their first solo projects even as the group has started work on its sixth studio album.

Dorough tells Billboard.com that “A.J.’s about done” with his album, while Dorough is “probably close to halfway there.” He’s been working with Jon Secada and George Noriega (Ricky Martin, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez) on an album Dorough says will explore the Latin roots of his mother’s family, which hails from Puerto Rico.

MTV is letting YOU decide this year’s VMA nominees! Help The BSBs earn as many nominations as possible – just go to VMA.MTV.com to cast your nomination and check back to see who got the top votes! Time is short – VOTE NOW and help the guys rack up nominations for “Helpless When She Smiles” and “Inconsolable.”

Although the email from thebackstreetboys.com says vote now, we can’t. At this moment voting is still going on for Best Female and Best Male videos. The offcial time we can start voting for BSB for Best Pop Video is Friday at 8pm EST. Also it says vote for ‘Inconsolable’ and ‘Helpless When She Smiles’ I think it would be best to vote for ‘Inconsolable’ at least that video had more airplay than ‘Helpless When She Smiles’.

A while back I posted about how the boys recorded one of Josh Hoge’s song for the new album. Now Josh has blogged on his myspace about working with Nick.
Lastly, as some of you know I have over the last year been working with other artists on their projects as a co-writer. Over the past week I’ve been spending a lot of time with Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys. We wrote a killer song together called “Scream” and recorded (demo) it yesterday. The boys recorded a song Ryan Tedder and I wrote called “Undone” a month ago, so this new one will either be for the BSB fellas or maybe Nicks solo project. Hes a great guy and we will be cowriting a ton over the next bit. Cant wait for you to hear both!

Two years ago I launched Kaos Online which then was called Blow Your Mind and was on a subdomain. Two years later it’s still up and growing each day. Since it’s launch we have had over 259,038 hits. Thanks to everyone who visited my site. It means a lot that you all like it to come back often. I hope to keep going with the site and bring you all the latest on Nick and BSB.

To celebrate Kaos Online’s 2 years of being online I have put up a brand new layout. The theme was created by Amanda. With a few alterations on the colors and the banner made my me. I hope you all like it. I tried to make it a bit more summer like. Feel free to send any comments you have on it at the community.

Well looks like you fine readers were correct.

After a couple of Nick Carter Seen in the City sightings, several of you wrote to say Nick is making a solo album in Nashville.

And Nick’s Nashville-based attorney, Jordan Keller, says you are correct!

Nick isn’t leaving the Backstreet Boys – they’re all going on a North America tour in a couple of weeks — but Nick is making a solo pop album. He has been working some with Desmond Child, who did lots o’ writing and producing for Ricky Martin. Desmond has a place in Nashville and spends quite a bit of time here.

Nick’s next Nashville appearance — Sunday night at the FUSE nightclub opening at Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is nutty for Nashville!

We’ve had several sightings in the last couple of years, even beyond when the Backstreet Boys made their new album in Franklin.

On Saturday, Nick was spotted by my Brad spy, codename: Special K, at the Cool Springs Galleria.

Special K reports that Nick looked like he just finished playing a basketball game: He had on hoops shorts and high tops with a white T-shirt.

He pulled up in a white Lincoln truck, and Nick was rolling with a dude.

No word on what he was buying.
